Paint aside, the most impressive part of this special Pur Sport is the painting process itself. It lasted no less than five weeks and it was all done by hand. First of all, Bugatti designers had to create a number of 2D shapes that were applied to the hypercar’s 3D surfaces with millimeter-perfection. The contrasting paint was applied layer upon layer in order to create the illusion of light reflection. When this process was completed, the paint was secured with a number of layers of clear coat.

The exterior features a unique light-inspired hand-painted artwork. The bodywork features a Blue Carbon finish combined with Nocturne stripes. In order to make the car even more unique, Bugatti designers placed the France national flag on each of the rear wing end plates, and the number “9” painted on the horseshoe grill in French Racing Blue.

The interior, on the other hand, is a combination of Beluga Black and French Racing Blue.

As for the engine, the Pur Sport is offered with the same quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 engine that produces 1,480 horsepower and 1,180 pound-feet of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is made in under 2.3 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 218 mph.
