More than just mechanics will figure out the white van with crimson letters. This 1951 Intercontinental Metro stroll-in screen van is a restored re-generation of Snap-On’s rolling retail shop frozen in time.
The exterior of this time equipment attributes hand-painted lettering. As soon as you step within the van, you are greeted by its maple hardwood ground adorned with painted logos that have been applied all over the several years. The custom cupboards just take you back again to the 50s with linoleum countertops and a backboard display screen.
All through the van are interval-appropriate vintage applications and tools, together with a classic transmission instruments display board and its 1959 Anal-O-Scope – a kind of oscilloscope for cars applied to measure electrical volts.
Power arrives from the first 2200cc Silver Diamond motor hooked to a 4-pace guide transmission. The van characteristics front hubs and a rear conclusion from a Chevrolet pickup.
