Alright fellas… I just about have all of this Grand Prix information out of my procedure for now, but in advance of I shut down the Briggs Cunningham collection, I figured it might be amazing to element the films that kind of encouraged my slide down the rabbit hole. A range of years in the past, the Peterson Automotive Museum teamed up with Alex Xydias and alongside one another they designed a form of historic documentary on the 1958 12-Hrs Of Sebring:

Pretty rad, appropriate? A little something about observing Alex dote on a Testarossa makes me smile. But wait… There’s a lot more!
The other footage that I totally fell in adore with was a Sebring Assessment from 1960. In this race, you can observe the early phases of the Ford Vs Ferrari war, Cunningham Corvettes, and just about every thing else American Street Racing had to supply in 1960. It’s only glorious to see these autos racing side by aspect and get a come to feel for their true scale both equally in sizing and velocity.
But my favourite element? Has to be the audio… Various class racing is the finest way to listen to a race car and this footage does not disappoint. Enjoy:
