As part of its newest upload, Hoonigan challenges Formula Drift Pro driver Dylan Hughes and his extremely unique 2010 NASCAR Cup Car to some friendly competition out at their private drag strip. While most traditional NASCAR race cars are equipped with roaring V8 engines, Dylan’s setup features an 850-horsepower 2JZ swap from a Toyota Supra. Viewed as an iconic powertrain in the eyes of any automotive enthusiast, the 3.0L Turbocharged Inline-6 is managed by a proper 4-speed manual transmission.

Taking on the Frankenstein NASCAR is Hoonigan’s Chevrolet Corvette C8, which makes over 490 horsepower from a 6.2L Naturally-Aspirated V8.
